Lola Star is putting a fabulous new spin of her wildly successful Dreamland Roller Rink and bringing the magic, glitz and glamour of Coney Island to Lakeside in Prospect Park.
Lola Star reinvented the concept of the traditional Roller Rink with her original Dreamland Roller Rink (www.DreamlandRollerRink.com) on the Coney Island Boardwalk. Dreamland was much more than a traditional roller skating experience – it was a mind blowing extravaganza. Skaters flocked to Dreamland’s themed skate parties dressed in glittering 80s roller disco attire to be dazzled the best roller disco DJs in the country, fabulous skate dance contests, roller dance lessons, and a dazzling array of fabulous burlesque and carnival arts performers.
Lola Star’s Dreamland Roller Disco will make its new home under the stars at Lakeside in Prospect Park every Friday night. Lakeside is a 16,000 square foot covered rolling rink overlooking Prospect Park Lake, a fabulous green roof terrace, and beer, wine and specialty menu selections from Bluestone Café.
Costumes that embody the glitz and glam of the1980’s are strongly encouraged at all Dreamland Roller Disco Parties.
