My fiancee and I met at work.  We knew each other for 3 years before we went out.  She had never been to Coney Island – I’m a native.

We went to the aquarium and then to a Cyclones game (I REALLY don’t like baseball but she’s a fan).  She thought it was sweet that I would go to a game.  We ended the Coney Island experience with a ride on the Wonder Wheel. She moved to Indiana after that and we dated long distance. She moved back to New York 6 months later.   After that we’ve made the Cyclones and Wonder Wheel a summer tradition.

On June 23rd this year I recreated our first date and proposed to her at the top of the Wonder Wheel!  Needless to say she accepted and made me the the happiest guy in the world! We are getting married this year and Coney Island will always be a special place for us. We’re getting married out of town but plan on taking pictures at the Wonder Wheel for our wedding album.
