16 May The Opening of Kitchen 21!

Wow… I had an incredible day. First I celebrated the opening of Kitchen 21, the new restaurant in my former roller rink building, the historical landmark Childs Building which was closed for decades on the Coney Island boardwalk! I got tears of joy in my eyes as I walked into this amazing restaurant. And quite honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever felt so tremendously grateful for my Coney Island family! Then I ran back to my Staten Island shop to attend the celebration party for who is running for city council! Her speech was incredibly inspiring & I met so many amazing members of the Staten Island community! So grateful for all the amazing, inspiring communities & people in my life!
